

So I decide to try logging into my acount in the Launcher, but BIG SURPRISE, nothing happens! The Launcher just refreshes back to the Welcome page without even giving me an error. But nothing is listed under my Purchase History when I check, the games aren't listed under My Account, but the Recent Activity ticker shows I've registered the Sims 3 base game and the two expansions as well. Finally I read that you were supposed to redeem the games on the Sims site first (nice of that being mentioned somewhere), so I went to the community site thing and set up an account. Since I'm running Win8 and heard there might be compatibility issues, I tried running the game in compatibility mode under Win7 and WinXP, and still nothing. Computer has been restarted and shut down several times, same issue. I uninstalled and reinstalled the games, leaving the expansion packs uninstalled. This was true for the Launcher and trying to start the game from the TS3.exe. Everytime I tried to launch the game, though, nothing happened.

Seeing as NOTHING told me anywhere that I first needed to redeem the games on, I instead went ahead and redeemed the codes through Origin.

I'm having the same issue here, but mine is a bit different.īasically I purchased the Humble Origin bundle, and it included the Sims 3 base game and two expansions, Late Night and High-End Loft Stuff.
